Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Jeremy Hellickson
Washington, D.C. -- Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Jeremy Hellickson has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, with shoulder fatigue.
Hellickson is the second starting pitcher to go on the DL. Jeff Niemann broke a bone in his leg in May.
Chris Archer has been called up from AAA Durham to replace Hellickson in the rotation, and will make his big league debut Wednesday night in Washington, against the Nationals' Stephen Strasburg.
