TAMPA, Fla. -- With the Bucs' record this season of 4-8, you may not find too many people who claim to be their ultimate fan, but a season ticket holder is on a mission to prove he's worthy of the title.
Mitchell "Buctastic" Phelps wore his face paint today in the stands at Raymond James Stadium like he does for every home game. He's competing against fans of other NFL teams to prove he's Vicks Nyquil Most Dedicated Fan.
So far, he's in the lead.
He's already had to submit photos, videos, and even show off a touchdown dance. The prize is tickets to the Superbowl.
Facebook votes and tweets are about 30 percent of the contest while the rest is decided by the judges. You can vote for Phelps, and check out his competition on Facebook. The contest ends December 29, 2011. Phelps says you can cheer him on virtually by tweeting his hashtag #VicksMDFTampaBayFan.
