Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman
Tampa, FL-- The Bucs won't know until the weekend, whether Josh Freeman will be healthy enough to play on Sunday.
Freeman suffered a sprained shoulder at the end of the Packers' game, and didn't play last week against Carolina.
Freeman did some light throwing in practice Wednesday, but Raheem Morris said he won't actually know until Friday... and maybe Saturday... whether Freeman will go on Sunday.
"My movement's greatly increased," Freeman said before Wednesday's practice. "I've thrown the ball a few times... It's just day to day, but it's gotten better... If we can continue on this pace, I really hope I can play this Sunday."
"We'll see what he can do tomorrow," said Raheem Morris after the practice. "We'll evaluate him on Friday... And Saturday and Sunday... Obviously, he's a lot better this week than he was last... We'll get a chance to see where he can go.... If he can go... In the next couple of day."
Backup QB Josh Johnson suffered a separated shoulder in the Carolina game, but was able to finish the game.
