Carson, CA (Sports Network) - Los Angeles Galaxy forward Edson Buddle will be
sidelined three to six weeks after undergoing knee surgery, the Major League
Soccer club announced Tuesday.
The 31-year-old Buddle underwent successful surgery Monday. L.A. will now have
to deal with the loss of one its top scorers, as Buddle is second on the squad
with two goals this season. He has played in 12 of the club's 13 games.
Galaxy midfielder Dan Keat, who had knee surgery late last month, will also be
out three to six weeks. He has played in one league match this season.
L.A., which is last in the Western Conference, returns to league play June 17
when it hosts the Portland timbers.
