St. Louis, Mo. -- If you go to Bethesda Terrace in south St. Louis County, you will find Rolland Stiles. Stiles happens to be the oldest living man who played in the major leagues.

At the age of 23, Stiles took the mound for the St. Louis Browns.

As a rookie, he faced Babe Ruth at Yankee Stadium. Stiles says another Yankee legend haunted him -- The Iron Man was the only hitter the Arkansas native did not want to see.

"(Lou) Gehrig, when he hit one, Lord the outfield fence might fall down cause he hit the ball hard. He was a better hitter than Ruth,” said Stiles.

Stiles says he would have pitched to Albert Pujols although he didn't guarantee an out.

Over 16,000 men have played Major League Baseball. Only 12 have reached the age of 100.

On November 17, Rolland Stiles will join that exclusive club.
