Tampa, Florida - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced they have signed 7th round draft pick, tackle Chris Denman.

A four-year starter at Fresno State, Denman earned first-team All-WAC honors as a senior in 2006.

Denman’s deal was announced Friday, adding him to a list of signees that also includes 4th-round safety Tanard Jackson, 5th-round defensive tackle Greg Peterson and 6th-round linebacker Adam Hayward and 7th-round cornerback Marcus Hamilton.

Now with half of the new class in the fold, the Buccaneers can concentrate on 1st-round defensive end Gaines Adams, 2nd-round guard Arron Sears, 2nd-round safety Sabby Piscitelli, 3rd-round linebacker Quincy Black and one remaining second-day selection, 7th-round running back Kenneth Darby.

Some of those deals may come down to the training camp wire, but the Bucs haven’t had an extended rookie holdout in over a decade.

Camp begins on Thursday, July 26.
