MIAMI — University of Miami fans looking to hold on to their Orange Bowl memories might soon have their chance.

Before the stadium is demolished, the city of Miami and a Fort Lauderdale-based company will auction off several items, including the scoreboard, lockers, ice machines, turnstiles and even urinals.

The auction is scheduled to take place in early February.

University officials announced in August that its football team will abandon the Orange Bowl after this season. That leaves the stadium without a primary tenant after 70 years.

On their home field, Miami won three national titles and a record 58 straight games.
