Charleroi, Belgium (Sports Network) - The 2012 Fed Cup quarterfinal between
Serbia and host Belgium will get underway Saturday with a singles match
between the visitors' former world No. 1 star Jelena Jankovic and Kirsten
Flipkens.
Jankovic-Flipkens will be followed by a rubber between the Serbs' Bojana
Jovanovski and the hosts' Yanina Wickmayer.
Sunday's reverse singles will pit the former U.S. Open runner-up Jankovic
against Wickmayer and Jovanovski versus Flipkens, while the potentially-
deciding doubles match on Day 2 will pit a Serbian duo of Jankovic and
Aleksandra Krunic against a Belgian tandem of Tamaryn Hendler and Alison Van
Uytvanck.
The Serbs are captained by Dejan Vranes, while team Belgium is guided by Ann
Devries.
The best-of-five tie will be staged on an indoor hardcourt at Charleroi's
Spiroudome.
Belgium owns one Fed Cup title, while Serbia is still in search of its first
championship.
The winner here will face the Russia-Spain victor in the semifinals in April.
