The BBC reports that police were called to an address near Wrotham, Kent, on Monday afternoon following a report of concern for the welfare of a woman. The woman, aged 25, was later pronounced dead by South East Coast Ambulance Service.
"At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and sudden," said a statement from Kent Police.
Peaches Honeyblossom Geldof, who worked as a writer, model and TV presenter, was married to musician Thomas Cohen. They have two young sons, Astala, one, and Phaedra, who will turn one on April 24.
Peaches' Instagram feed was full of photos of the children. "Waging a never ending war against dirty nappies..." read her profile description.
Peaches' own mother, Yates, died of a drug overdose in September 2000 when Peaches was just 11 years old. Eerily, Peaches' most recent tweet was an Instagram photo of herself and Yates. "Me and my mum," tweeted Peaches on April 6.
Piers Morgan tweeted the news of her sudden death, calling it "another awful tragedy in that family."
