(USA TODAY) She can't stop. And she won't stop. But Miley Cyrus has to stop — for now.
The star, who continues to be hospitalized for a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics, has just announced she is postponing two more shows on her Bangerz Tour. The Friday show at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and Saturday's concert at KFC Yum! Center in Louisville have been postponed.
Nashville's show is now scheduled for Aug. 7 and Louisville's for Aug. 9.
Cyrus was suffering from a sinus infection during her tour in North Carolina, says her rep, Meghan Prophet, in a statement. "She was prescribed the antibiotic Cephalexin which she has now suffered an extreme allergic reaction to. This type of extreme reaction can last from 5 to 27 days in these types of cases."
Cyrus will remain hospitalized "and is under a doctor's care until we see some improvement in her condition, and is asking for your compassion and privacy at this time. Miley is devastated about missing shows and possibly disappointing her fans."
