(USA TODAY) The Ice Bucket Challenge has raked in money for ALS, with a total of more than $41 million, at last count. Many celebs have gotten involved to help the campaign that has gone way beyond viral.

But Pamela Anderson is refusing to take part.

And she's issuing a new challenge to the ALS Assocation: Stop animal testing.

In a Facebook note that has prompted both fan praise and hate comments, the actress/activist writes in detail of mice and monkey experimentation.

She's urging fans instead to find an organization that doesn't use animals to test for cures.
