The E! talk-show host won't be renewing her contract, according to 'The Hollywood Reporter.'
THR quotes Handler's manager, Irving Azoff, who says: "Chelsea intends to leave when her contract expires. She hired me to figure out her life after E! We have at least seven suitors and many ideas."
Among those ideas are a radio "presence" and a new talk show on a different network.
Handler, 39, has made no secret about her and E! not being on the same page. On March 5, she went on Howard Stern's radio show and called E! "a sad, sad place to live ... They don't know what they're doing. They have no ideas. It's a failure."
Earlier this month, Handler told USA TODAY that she might be ready to move on from Chelsea Lately, which has been on E! for eight years. "I don't know if I want to be talking about Justin Bieber when I'm 40," she said.
But Handler, the only female late-night host on TV, also indicated that she wouldn't mind doing another talk show -- as long as it's on her (often raunchy) terms. "I don't want to be on a regular network. If I do a show, I want to get away with what I get away with. I use language because that's how I am in real life."
Handler's new book, Uganda Be Killing Me, released on March 4, is currently No. 40 on USA TODAY's Best-Selling Books list. It peaked at No. 9 on March 13.
