Tampa, Florida -- Suit Up everybody! What's going on in this room tonight, is nothing but Legen -- wait for it -- dary.
"I live in Ontario, Canada, and I came all the way to see this!" smiles one woman, sitting in a leather chair, with a glass of wine in hand.
Gabriella's at the Renaissance Hotel in Tampa, was transformed, for one night, into "How I Met Your Mother" series finale headquarters. In attendance, some of the show's most die-hard fans.
"I painted my nails like the yellow umbrella and I have a "legendary" pin on. Says one woman, sitting down to a plate of sliders, and filling out her HIMYM trivia sheet.
The hit CBS show ended it's 9-season run Monday night, and after 208 episodes, audiences finally get the answer to the age-old question, of "How I Met Your Mother."
Nominated for nearly 30 Emmy awards, and winning 9, the CBS comedy told the story of a group of friends living in New York City.
After an hour of laughs, and some curve ball moments, "I am in shock! I can't believe that happened," says one fan.
Mouths drop open.
Before we know it -- the final, final slap.
"I'm upset! I'm very angry! I've been ranting for 2, 5, 10 minutes!" cries one woman, with her head in her hands.
Her friend seems to disagree.
"That's how it had to end, go through all that, to find each other. It was destiny. Yeah, it was destiny."
When asked if any tears were shed, one woman gives a small chuckle.
"No, but I'm going to!"
