Arlington, TX (Sports Network) - For the third straight night the Texas Rangers belted a walk-off home run against the rival Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

It was Adrian Beltre who played hero on Wednesday when he crushed a solo shot off Michael Kohn in the ninth inning to give the Rangers a dramatic 2-1 win.

The crowd-pleasing home run marked the first time in club history the Rangers homered in their final at-bat to win the game. It also completed a three-game sweep on the heels of Texas' four-game slide and sent the Angels to a season- high sixth straight loss.
