PORT ORANGE, Fla. (WKMG)- A woman who was golfing at Crane Lakes Golf and Country Club in Port Orange was hurt after a lightning bolt struck two nearby trees.

Employees at the golf course said two golfers were standing near their cart on the 10th fairway when the lightning touched down.

They said both golfers were thrown 15 to 20 feet away from the cart. They said the woman was the only one hurt.

When paramedics got there, employees said she had a bloody nose and told rescue crews that she couldn't feel her legs.

Late Wednesday night, employees said they were told she was doing okay.
