PULASKI COUNTY, Arkansas (KARK) -- An Arkansas man is in custody who police say hijacked a school bus with students on board.

Officials say no one was injured in the ordeal that began in Jacksonville and ended in Cabot Thursday morning.

The Jacksonville Police Department says the incident was reported around 7:15 when a 911 call reported a man armed with a knife.

Police say Nicholas John Miller first approached a person and demanded a vehicle from someone who did not have one. Miller then got onto a stopped Pulaski County Special School District bus and jumped into the driver's seat, armed with the knife.

11 elementary school aged children were on board the bus, along with a driver.
