Lakeland, Florida -- In what comes across as a campaign of jealous rage, deputies say Aimee Streeter shot her ex-boyfriend and his current fiancee.

After opening fire on the couple Sunday night in Lakeland, investigators say 33-year-old Streeter took off. On Monday morning, investigators say she was tracked down in Alabama.

Tabarri Clayton, who deputies say is Streeter's ex-boyfriend, survived the shooting. Neighbors say he went door-to-door in his neighborhood asking for help, wearing a blood-soaked white t-shirt.

The other shooting victim is Janice Lucas, who deputies say is engaged to Clayton. Clayton is listed as being stable at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Lucas was also alive when deputies helped her out of her house, but she is described as being in critical condition.

Clayton and Lucas were shot insidetheir Crescent Hills Place home, on the southern edge of Lakeland. Records show the two bought the 5,000 square foot house together in January.

Several children of various ages also live in the house, neighbors said. It's not clear whether the children were home at the time of the shooting.

The victims alsoown a home health care business and a Haines City barber shop together, according to State of Florida records.

But Polk County Sheriff's Office investigators say their suspect was here from another state. Streeter's last known address is in Midland City, Alabama, a small town of just 1,700 people north of the Florida Panhandle.

10 News asked a sheriff's spokesperson whether it looks like Streeter specifically traveled from Alabama to carry out the crime. That information is still under investigation, we were told.

Polk Sheriff Grady Judd is expected to speak about the case later in the afternoon.
