Bradenton, Florida -- Manatee County deputies are searching for five people who robbed a man after he made a deal for sex at a Bradenton home Friday morning.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office says 30-year-old Erik Platero met a woman at the Amscot in the 3600 block of 1st Street East and after they made a deal for sex, they headed to a home in the 500 block of 28th Avenue West. When they got there, there were two men standing in the driveway.
They all went inside and completed the $30 deal as another man and woman walked into the home. Platero told police that man put him in a choke hold and put a knife to his throat. They then sat him on the couch and tied his hands together with a belt while the women went through his pockets stealing his cell phone and wallet.
