PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Portland Police have made an arrest while investigating a robbery at a Portland Walgreens Pharmacy.

Police say Elisabeth Sanborn, 34 years old from Portland, first entered the Walgreens at 340 Allen Avenue9AM Sunday morning, where a she allegedly demanded prescription drugs. Police say Sanborn allegedly indicated a threat and referenced an explosive device. Sanborn left with an undisclosed amount of prescription medication.

Police say Sanborn then returned to the pharmacy at approximately 11AM where she was arrested for robbery.

Officials say the Portland Police Hazardous Device Unit and an Explosive Detection K-9 were called to the parking lot to conduct a protective sweep of the suspect vehicle in the lot. Police say no hazardous devices were detected.
