Hudson, Florida -- A woman hired to serve as a caretaker for an 81-year-old stroke patient was arrested Friday after police learned she had stolen the woman's jewelry.

Police say Angela Berlin, 28, and her boyfriend pawned the jewelry valued around $7,000 at numerous pawn shops on various dates.

Berlin, of Hudson, was arrested and charged with Grand Theft. She did not make any statements to detectives.
