Tampa, Florida -- Big changes are coming to Ybor City's annual Guavaween festival.

The fences are coming down, the admission fee is going away as is the wet zone, so you won't be able to drink an alcoholic beverage as you stroll down 7th Avenue.

The parade is also a thing of the past.

The Ybor City Chamber of Commerce will announce its plans for this year's festival this morning at 10.

This year's event will be held on Saturday, October 27th from 6 p.m.-2 a.m.. The Chamber says Guavaween will still feature indoor live music and an outdoor costume contest.
