(USA TODAY) -- Johnny Lewis, an actor who appeared on FX's Sons of Anarchy and had roles on The O.C., Boston Public and Criminal Minds, died on Wednesday in Los Angeles. He was 28.
AP reports that Lewis, who played Kip "Half Sack" Epps on Anarchy, fell to his death Wednesday after apparently beating his elderly landlady to death, authorities said.
The Los Angeles County coroner's office today identified the bodies as those of Lewis, 28, and Catherine Davis, 81.
Neighbors called police Wednesday morning to report a woman screaming and three men fighting. Officers went to a home in the Los Feliz area near Hollywood and found the body of a woman in the driveway, Sgt. Frank Preciado told the Los Angeles Times.
TMZ reports that neighbors heard the 81-year-old woman screaming and then saw a young man outside her home attack two other people with a piece of wood, before he climbed onto the roof and fell to his death.
