Tampa, Florida -- A Tampa man was arrested Wednesday after he put up a fight with detectives who attempted to search his home for child porn.

The Hillsborough Sheriff's Office says 64-year-old Dennis Werner tried to keep detectives out of his home by force when they arrived at his home in the 8600 block of Cadwick Drive.

Detectives seized four computers, six external hard drives, several CD's and DVD's, memory cards, thumb drives and other equipment. So far, they found numerous files depicting children approximately infant to 15 years of age engaged in sexual activities.

Werner was charged with 100 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer. The sheriff's office says it may file additional charges after a complete review of his computers and equipment.
