Palm Harbor, Florida -- Detectives are searching for the man who robbed a Palm Harbor Publix Saturday night.

The sheriff's office says around 9 p.m. on Oct. 6, the man walked into the Publix on the corner of Alderman Road and U.S. 19 N, implied he had a gun and demanded money from the store manager. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, he fled on foot.

Surveillance video shows the man wearing a red curly wig under a black hat with the letter "TK" on it. He was also wearing a long sleeve black shirt and tan cargo pants. The man appears to have black make-up on his face in an attempt to conceal his identity.

If you recognize the individual in the pictures or have information about the case, please call Detective Jeff Capra at 727-582-6200. Or if you wish to remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS.
