Tampa, Florida -- Though it's not down to a complete science, 7-Eleven's Presidential Coffee Cup Poll has now accurately predicted general election outcomes four times in a row, boasts the convenience store chain's website.
The Poll utilizes sales of coffee cups with each candidate's name and designated party color to calculate their popularity among customers, and in turn, predict the outcome of the presidential race.
This year, President Obama's blue cups filled the national pot with 59% of the votes, and Governor Romney's red cups followed with 41%, says the website.
The site even breaks it down by state and city. In Florida, 55 percent of customers purchased Obama's cups, while 45 percent grabbed a Romney Cup of Joe. In Tampa, Obama won 60 percent to 40 percent.
