ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The "Wheel Mobile" is in town through Monday at the Mahaffey Theater, and with it comes your chance to appear on "Wheel of Fortune."
Thousands of people lined up on Sunday to be part of the crowd during one of three mock "Wheel of Fortune" sessions inside the Mahaffey. A random lottery selected five people at a time, who competed in lightning rounds.
Some of the contestants, along with more participants selected in a lottery, will be invited back for a second audition period in Tampa Bay at a later date. From there, they could win a coveted spot on the actual "Wheel of Fortune" show.
If you didn't get to make it out on Sunday, or even if you did attend but weren't called in the lottery, you're invited to the Mahaffey on Monday for your final chance to play. It starts at 5 p.m., and organizers encourage people to start arriving as early as 3 p.m.
The show is looking for enthusiastic people who are good at solving puzzles, and speak loudly and clearly.
