Spring Hill, Florida -- A Hernando man is facing charges after he allegedly became enraged and threatened to kill everyone in a hospital emergency room.

Authorities say 35-year-old Daniel Jeremy Hammond became enraged because he was not allowed to see his son, who was being treated in the ER at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.

Hospital staff say Hammond began screaming profanity and said he was going to get a gun and shoot everyone in the ER.

Hammond reportedly calmed down as deputies arrived and admitted he did get out of control, but did not mention anything about a gun.

Deputies issued Hammond a trespass warning, and offered him a ride back to his home. However, right after Hammond was dropped off, a deputy saw him walking back to the hospital.

Hammond allegedly said he was heading back to the ER and that "you guys got to do what you got to do." He was then arrested for Breach of Peace taken to jail without further incident.

Hammond is currently being held without bond.
