Breast cancer patients looking for a natural boost are turning to a mushroom as part of an investigative study. Asmall mushroom called "turkey tail" is commonly found in northwest forests. Physicians in other parts of the world have been using for centuries to boost the body's immune system.

Researchers at Bastyr, a natural healing university, are in the middle of a ground breaking investigation after getting permission from theFDA to study turkey tail's healing qualities.
