Tampa, FL-- Two men are wanted in Hillsborough County after they reportedly stole two boats, stripped them for parts and left them on a local Tampa street.
Reports say the suspects stole the boats from Sea Fox Boats of Tampa Bay off the 7500 block of Dale Mabry Hwy last Sunday, January 13, between 9 and 10:30 p.m.
After leaving the yard, the men reportedly took the boats, together valued at nearly $300,000, to be stripped at a location off of Sligh Ave.
The suspects removed the motors, instrument electronics, steering controls, throttle controls, boarding ladders and hard canopy tops, before abandoning them, reports say.
The wanted suspects have both been described as White or Hispanic males, standing between 5'7 and 6', and weighing between 150 and 180 pounds
One suspect vehicle is a white Ford van with decals on the upper-middle sides, and above rear wheels. The other is a white or silver, four-door Ford F250/350.
