Tampa, FL-- Detectives are searching for two suspects in a string of three armed robberies that occurred late last week.

Officials have been searching for one of the suspects since Friday morning, January 19, after he robbed one of the three storeswearing a motorcycle helmet.

According to reports, each of the robberies took place in the Brandon area between Thursday, January 18 and Friday, January 19.

The Direct general Insurance company off Adamo Dr., the Metro PCS Store off Kingsway Rd. and the Causeway Self Storage facility off 86th St. S were targeted.

The suspects have been described as follows:

Suspect one:

  • White Hispanic male
  • 35-40 years of age
  • 5'11" - 6'1"
  • 180-200 lbs.
  • Medium build
  • Short black hair with a neatly trimmed goatee.
  • Last seen wearing a black and silver motorcycle helmet, sunglasses, black jacket, blue jeans, dark shoes and black gloves

Suspect two:

  • Black male
  • 25-30 years of age
  • 6'1"-6'3"
  • Stocky build
  • 220-230 lbs
  • Last seen wearing a black and silver full face motorcycle helmet, black Oakley sunglasses, black windbreaker jacket, red shirt, black jeans, and black Lugz boots

Anyone with any information reference the suspect is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200.
