Tampa, FL-- USF Head Football Coach Willie Taggart has a special connection with the Harbaugh Family, whose sons John and Jim will be coaching against each other in the Super Bowl.

Willie played for the father, Jack Harbaugh, at Western Kentucky, and later took over as the head coach at WKU.

While he was still at Bradenton Manatee HS, and deciding where he wanted to play college football, Jim Harbaugh actually called to recruit him. Jim was playing for the Chicago Bears at the time.

"He was so personable getting to know me, as a person, not just a football player," Taggart told 10 News. "That meant a lot... I tell people now, that was the first time that someone, outside my immediate family, actually felt like they cared about you... That entire family."

Willie Taggart will be attending the Super Bowl in New Orleans, and admitted to rooting for both John Harbaugh's Ravens, and Jim Harbaugh's 49ers.
