Pattaya City, Thailand (Sports Network) - Maria Kirilenko and Sabine Lisicki were semifinal winners Saturday and will meet for the title at the Pattaya Open.
The second-seeded Kirilenko rolled to a 6-0, 6-2 rout of Romania's Sorana Cirstea after the fifth-seeded Lisicki had polished off Russian Nina Bratchikova, 7-5, 6-3.
Kirilenko will play in the Pattaya final for the second straight year. She lost to Slovakia's Daniela Hantuchova last year, one of her two losses in title matches in 2012.
The 25-year-old Russian is 5-6 lifetime in WTA finals and has lost four in a row since winning her last tournament title in September 2008 in Seoul.
Lisicki is 3-2 lifetime in finals and will play in a title match for the first time since August 2011 when she won the U.S. Open tune-up in Texas.
It's been a rough start to 2013 for the German, who was bounced in the second round by Victoria Azarenka in Brisbane and lost to Caroline Wozniacki in the first round at the Australian Open.
Kirilenko won both previous meetings with Lisicki, but Sunday will mark their first matchup in a WTA main draw. The two last squared off in qualifying for the U.S. Open tune-up in Cincinnati.
This week's titlist will collect $40,000.
