St. Paul, MN (Sports Network) - Devin Setoguchi scored the game-winner with 39 seconds left in overtime to lift the Minnesota Wild to a 2-1 triumph over the Nashville Predators on Saturday at Xcel Energy Center.
Cal Clutterbuck also the lit the lamp, while Ryan Suter added a pair of assists to help the Wild snap a three-game skid.
Niklas Backstrom stopped 25 shots, including 12 in the third period, to earn the victory.
Chris Mason saved 30-of-32 shots for the Predators, who saw their four-game winning streak come to an end.
Paul Gaustad scored the lone Nashville goal, but was called for a controversial hand pass in the faceoff circle at the 2:48 mark of overtime to set up Setoguchi's power-play tally.
