Sarasota, Florida -- A Hillsborough County Sheriff's cattle dog named "Doc" has been missing since Saturday and if you can find him you could get $500.

The sheriff's office says Doc somehow got out of his special trailer as Agriculture Detective Lowell Cain was pulling it on I-75 N near the Fruitville exit in Sarasota County.

Doc is a personal dog but is sort of the HCSO Agriculture Unit's mascot who helps Detective Cain heard loose cows off the roadways. He's a mixed breed cattle dog who is very friendly and weighs about 60 pounds.

A $500 reward is being offered for his safe return.

Anyone who may have seen or has any information on the Doc's location is asked to call Sgt. Ron Cain at 813-318-5681.
