Tampa, Florida -- The Seffner Christian girls basketball team, practiced in a unfamiliar location Monday, as they prepared for the state semifinal game -- the USF Sun Dome.

USF women's basketball coach Jose Fernandez, made the Sun Dome available for several high school girls teams who will play in Lakeland this week, in the state semifinals and finals.

Seffner Christian made it to the state tournament two years, but lost. They're using that trip as motivation.

"I am soooo excited," senior Tesh Hanson told 10 News. "I've had dreams about this all year. And I've had this feeling, I've gotta get back, I've gotta get a ring. It will make my life if I win state."

Seffner Christian playsMiami Country Day Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., in the second 3A state semifinal.

Calvary Christian of Clearwater plays Father Lopez in the other semi, at noon, in Lakeland.

Academy of the Lakes, in Land O'Lakes, opens tournament play Tuesday at 4 p.m., with a 2A semifinal game against Sheridan Hills Christian.
