Severe storms are pushing through Tampa Bay. A Tornado Watch is in effect as a line of strong storms moves onshore this morning. The main threat will come from straight line wind gusts near 60 mph, but isolated tornadoes can't be ruled out.

Following the passage of the cold front on Tuesday, temperatures will steadily drop through the week, with very cold temps expected for the weekend. Daytime highs on Sunday will be in the upper 50's.

Tuesday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could be strong to severe. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. Southwest winds 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tuesday Night: A slight chance of showers before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. West southwest wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 77. West wind 7 to 11 mph.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 55. West wind 6 to 8 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 70. West northwest wind 7 to 13 mph.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 51. West northwest wind 8 to 10 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65. West northwest wind 9 to 11 mph.

Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 61.

Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 58.
