Sarasota County, Florida -- Around 11 a.m. at Liberty Savings Bank, on Stickney Point Road in Sarasota, a man wearing gloves put a ski mask over his face, pulled a hoodie over his head and approached the bank.

When an employee locked the doors the suspect ran off.

According to reports, the man ran away from the bank and, as deputies were searching for the suspect, a robbery was reported at Bank of America on Clark Road.

The robber, matching the description of the first suspect, said he had a gun and handed the teller plastic bags to fill with cash.

The responding deputies located the suspect, later identified as Robert Johnson, nearby just five minutes later.
