Spring Hill, Florida-- One man's reaction to a physical fight last month has landed him behind bars on four Attempted Murder charges, Hernando deputies announced Tuesday.
According to reports, it was 7:30 a.m. on February 27 when Kraig Schoonover got into a physical altercation at a home in northeast Spring Hill. A man and three other victims were present at the time.
Schoonover left the home that day, but returned very early the next morning armed with flammable liquid and several Molotov cocktails.
"He doused the residence with a flammable liquid, and discharged several Molotov cocktails at the residence with the intent to kill the occupants inside," said the arrest report.
Though reports do not say so, it appears Schoonover then set fire to the home, as he was later arrested and charged with one count of Arson and four counts of Attempted First Degree Murder.
U.S. Marshalls found him in Grant, Florida on Monday, March 4.
Damages from the incident are only on the outside of the home.
Officials say the investigation is active/ongoing and there may be additional suspects.
