(USA TODAY) The next smartphone from electronics titan Samsung could feature eye-tracking technology that scrolls through pages based on where users are viewing the screen.
Bloomberg has revealed several detailsof the Samsung Galaxy S4, expected to make its debut during a press event in New York on Thursday.
According to the report, which cites "people familiar with the product," the S4 will boast a 5-inch screen, a quad-core processor and 13-megapixel camera.
Perhaps the most interesting feature is eye scrolling. However, whether it does end up on the S4 remains unclear. Earlier this month,the New York Times reportedeye tracking for reading articles would be available. But sources cited by Bloomberg claim it will involve simpler users such as videos that pause when the user looks away.
Samsung's Galaxy S series of smartphones have surged in popularity, most notably last year's Galaxy S3. The companysold 30 million worldwidein its first five months.
