Kathy Allen is beside herself. Her daughter Tamara is due to be married in just 8 days aboard the Carnival Dream, but with the ship stuck in St. Maarten, the wedding is in jeopardy.

"It's a girl's dream, once in a life time, happy memories. Do you fear for your daughter's wedding? Yeah I do. With Carnival, yeah," said Allen.

Tamara is much more composed, but she isn't made of stone.

"Obviously, it's upsetting, but at the same time, I try not to let it bother me cause I don't wanna .... I hope it's still gonna happen," said Tamara.

Tamara has been planning the wedding for the past 6 months, and has spent more than 8 grand on the dress, hotel rooms, and travel for her friends and family, but hasn't heard from Carnival after several calls for direction and advice.

"I think by now we should've at least gotten a call, knowing the wedding is just a week away. We're set up with a wedding, I just thinksome kind of information."

THAT makes Kathy angry, but she and her daughter are at the mercy of Carnival and the clock, and are hoping for the best.

"I have high hopes that it will work out," Tamara said.
