LEALMAN, Florida -- Fire investigators are working to figure out how a blaze started that destroyed a business.
Lealman fire officials said they got calls just before 3 a.m. from drivers who saw smoke and flames coming from the business along 66th St North near 56th Ave. It appears to be an auto parts place.
When firefighters arrived, they said flames were shooting through the roof and the front windows. The flames were so intense, it caused the roof to cave in. Crews were not able to go inside because it was too risky. Firefighters from Lealman, St Petersburg, Pinellas Park, and Seminole responded to the scene.
There were no reports of injuries.
