Tampa, Florida-- Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrests of two men involved in the murder of 28-year-old Elijah Weiner-Jones.

According to Tampa PD detectives, Weiner-Jones got into a physical altercation with the suspects just before 6 p.m. on March 27, off the 2500 block of W Palmetto Street in Tampa.

During the attack, they say the suspects knocked him to the ground, before one of them shot and killed him.

Police say the men fit the following descriptions:

Suspect 1:

  • Black male
  • 27-29 years old
  • Approximately 6' tall
  • Thin build
  • Shoulder length dreads
  • Dressed in black

Suspect 2:

  • Black male
  • Younger and shorter than Suspect #1
  • "Dirty and uncontrolled dreads"
  • Last seen wearing a camouflage jacket and blue pants
