The Yankees will be without Captain Derek Jeter until after the All-Star break. A CT scan revealed Jeter has a crack in the ankle he's been rehabbing at the Yankees spring training complex in Tampa.

Jeter suffered the original broken ankle injury in the American League championship series last fall. The future hall of famer played sparsely during March with the Major League club in Grapefruit League play.

This is another big blow to the Yankees infield that has been missing first baseman Mark Texeira and third baseman Alex Rodriquez since the beginning of the season.
