St. Petersburg, Florida -Thepolice officer whose actions sparked race riots in St. Petersburg back in the 1990's is now in trouble with the law.

51-year-old James Knightwas booked into the Pinellas County jail Saturday night after being pulled over. He'sfacing a misdemeanorDUI charge.

Back in 1996 during a traffic stop, he shot and killed a black teenager by the name of Tyron Lewis.A month later a grand jury cleared him.

It sparked two days of race riots in St. Petersburg where shots were fired in the streets and buildings were set on fire.
