Tampa, Florida -- A young Tampa man is in big trouble with police after they say he stole the personal information of 41 people from his mother's work computer.
Hillsborough Sheriff's deputies say between Feb. 13 and May 13, Devonte Jackson, 18, went through his mother's Ace Home Care work computer and stole the victims' identification information. He then completed Visa applications using their information and had the cards sent to his friends' homes.
Deputies received information that Jackson had credit cards on him and during a search of his home found a bag of credit cards. Twenty-two in all were recovered.
Jackson has been charged with 41 counts of fraudulent use of personal identification information and one count of trafficking in counterfeit credit cards.
