Tampa, Florida -- American Idol's Randy Jackson will be in town Thursday for a visit to MacDill Air Force Base.

During the visit, Jackson is scheduled to tour a KC-135, a flight simulator, the control tower, meet with military working dogs, and watch a musical performance by the students ofTinker Elementary.

Jackson will perform with MacDill vocalist Staff Sgt. Aisha Davis, the 2011 Air Mobility Command Icon winner, during a ceremony for newly-promoted master sergeants. The pair will do a rendition of "God Bless America" with Jackson on guitar.
