Clearwater, Florida - At Countryside High School on Thursday there were plenty of photographs snapped of graduates, even though it wasn't a picture perfect day.

Bright House Field was supposed to be the site of the morning graduation ceremony, but with Tropical Storm Andrea moving through, Soggy House Field was perhaps a more fitting name. So grads and their families shifted gears and filled the high school auditorium.

"The gym was completely packed with people and they were all cheering and air horns and people yelling, so it was still very good," said graduate Luke Dalton.

However, with more than 400 seniors walking, the school had to hold two separate ceremonies. The class was divided alphabetically and that disappointed Ashley Jones.

"So we didn't get to see all our friends graduate," she said standing outside holding several inflatable water tubes.

With all the rain, it may have looked like Jones needed a float, but encircling a graduate with tubes is actually a Hawaiian custom. Jones spent part of her high school years there and her family kept the tradition.

And despite the rain that came through in band after band, most graduates were just happy to leave with diplomas in hand.

"I'm excited; moving on to the next chapter of my life," said Ian Jones. "Glad to be done with high school."
