Polk County, Florida -- Detectives are seeking information about two apparently related robberies that occurred in Polk County and Hillsborough County.

The first robbery occurred on Wednesday, March 27, around 1:50 p.m. According to reports, a white male suspect entered the dry cleaning business located on the corner of US Hwy 98 North and Marcum Road in Lakeland and robbed the clerk. He fled on foot heading north.

Two days later on Friday, March 29, a very similar robbery occurred at a dry cleaning business in Valrico.

The suspect is described as:

  • A white male
  • Between 5'8" and 6'
  • Wearing blue jeans, a dark colored long sleeved shirt, a dark colored beanie style hat, and dark sunglasses
  • The suspect vehicle appears to be a white mid-90's model Infiniti J30 four-door car
