Seminole, Florida -- Deputies are investigating a crash between a bicycle and a car that occurred Friday evening.

On June 21, a man was driving his car southbound on Park Street when a bicyclist road directly into the car's path.

The bicyclist was ejected from his bike and transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. The driver of the car was uninjured.

The bicyclist did not cross at a crosswalk and he did not have the right of way.

Reportedly, detectives are looking into alcohol as a factor in the crash on behalf of the bicyclist not the driver of the car.
