Clearwater, Florida --Clearwater Police detectives have charged a Largo man in connection with a May 24 heist where he donned a wig and black gloves to rob a bank on Fort Harrison Avenue.

Clearwater Police detectives say they became aware Sunday that 29-year-old Daniel Williams had been taken into custody by Belleair Police on another bank robbery that had occurred in their jurisdiction.

After detectives interviewed Williams and the 1st United Bank teller and a witness from the May 24 robbery identified him from a photo pack as the robber, he was arrested and charged with the strong arm robbery.
